Women of Excellence Ministry

Vision

To build a strong force of women leaders, who will maximize their true potential through the discovery of their individual purpose and find their place in the Body of Christ.

 

Mission

To bring women to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior; and to edify, encourage, and help strengthen their Kingdom walk.

Purpose

  • To reach women with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God relevance to their needs.
  • To provide an opportunity for spiritual growth, build moral and spiritual character, and develop talents in an atmosphere of love and spiritual interaction.
  • To cultivate relationships between women of all age groups.
  • To host conferences, seminars, and workshops focusing on topics that build self-esteem, business and professional work ethics, home management and general etiquette.
  • To provide opportunities which encourage physical fitness and the development of a healthy lifestyle.

Women of Excellence Ministry (WOE) is subdivided into four dynamic “Small Groups” in order to best meet the needs of our women and meet the goals of the Ministry.

Some Small Group activities:

  1. Share hobbies (gardening, cooking, sewing, etc.)
  2. Read and discuss a book on a monthly or quarterly basis
  3. Island Tours
  4. Breakfast, lunch or dinner outings
  5. Visit various charitable homes
  6. Bible Study/Prayer/Intercession
  7. Attend various types of seminars locally
  8. Exercise classes
  9. Attend Plays, Poetry Readings, etc.
  10. Support local Women’s Ministry events
  11. Local/Family Island Missions

Events

General monthly meetings on the 4th Saturday of every month, 8:30am-11:30am at the Diplomat Center (unless otherwise announced).

A retreat each year in October.
